Dear parents/carers
We have had a lovely week at preschool, filled with lots of reading and bug hunts. The children have really enjoyed playing with our new magnetic shapes, building some amazing structures, and using some good 3d shape names like cubes and pyramids.
Next week it is sport relief so we will be doing a different sporting activity each day, we will have a pot out throughout the week if anyone would like to make a donation.
We will also have builder role play outside, which was requested by some of the children.
In our small groups we will be playing an animal game that promotes the children’s communication and language skills. We will also be playing ‘digging for treasure’ from the letters and sounds programme.
Rising fives (Monday and Wednesday afternoons for school starters 2020)
Our letter of the week is ‘e’ so don’t forget to go on a letter hunt and bring something in for our sound basket, remembering it has to be the correct sound so an egg would be great but an eagle would not! On Friday 20th we will be having our mothers day lunch, where the children will be making you lunch whilst you relax! (please feel free to bring a packed lunch for your child to join you after they have made your lunch). Please could you let me know if you are able to join us so we know rough numbers, and if you have any dietary requirements, thank you.
If you have not already then please like our Facebook page so that you don’t miss a thing!
Wednesday 25th March, we will be holding a parents evening, please see your child’s key worker for an appointment. if you are unable to make this date they will be happy to make arrangements for an alternative time.
RACE NIGHT this Saturday, its not too late to get your tickets, you can still purchase them for £5.00 from the shop or £7.00 on the door. Have a fantastic weekend.
Kind regards,
Fliss and team.
